Our Scranton office is home to our Ambulatory Surgical Center where we offer LASIK, cataract surgery, intraocular lens implants, and other eye surgeries to correct retina issues for patients in Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, and other nearby areas in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Education

Dr. Peairs received his bachelor’s degree from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and was awarded his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia.

He completed an internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a three-year residency in ophthalmology at Hahnemann, and a fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York.

He is a member of the American Society of Retinal Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Lackawanna County Medical Society. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, PA.
