Education

Dr. Maglioli earned his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology from the University of Scranton. He was awarded his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University in Philadelphia, PA.

Experience

Dr. Maglioli has completed several clinical externships that have enhanced his expertise. Notably, he undertook a Disease Externship with Einstein Ophthalmology Associates in Philadelphia, PA, where he specialized in post-operative care for cataracts, YAG, and LPI procedures, as well as the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, and anterior segment conditions. Additionally, he gained valuable experience through an externship at The Eye Institute, focusing on pediatric care. He gained experience in contact lenses, including fitting specialty lenses, during his externship with Dr. Joseph Shovlin at Northeastern Eye Institute in Scranton.
