Northeastern Eye Institute’s Montrose office is located at 16749 State Route 706 in the Rob’s Market Plaza. In addition to Montrose, this office also serves the communities of Susquehanna, Gibson, Jackson, Uniondale, New Milford, Hallstead, Great Bend, Dimock, Springville, Lawton, Tunkhannock, Brackney, Little Meadows , Apalachin and Starucca. Our Scranton office is home to our Ambulatory Surgical Center where we offer LASIK, cataract surgery, intraocular lens implants, and other eye surgeries to correct retina issues for patients in Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, and other nearby areas in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Education

Dr. Jordan is a graduate of Scranton Central High School and received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Scranton in 1991. Also Masters degree from Saint Joseph’s University in 2018 Erivan Haub school of business. He went on to earn his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He served his internship at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Hospital in Binghamton, New York.

During his internship, he was a clinical assistant professor for the internal medicine department. He also completed a three-year ophthalmology residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and served as chief resident from 1998 to 1999.

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Lackawanna County Medical Society. He is also a board member of the Lackawanna Lupus Society and the Lackawanna Association for the Blind.
